Register your interest for participation in future Technical Working Groups

Overview

The Aviation Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP) has been established to provide high-level advice to the CASA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director of Aviation Safety (DAS). This advice comes from the aviation community on current and emerging issues that have, or may have significant implications for aviation safety and the way CASA performs its functions.

Technical Working Groups (TWGs) are established under the ASAP Terms of Reference, to refer specific issues within an industry sector, subject matter, or domain for advice. Through the ASAP, TWGs offer recommendations to the CEO/DAS in alignment with their tasking instructions and areas of expertise.

Why do we seek your Expression of Interest?

The ASAP determines the membership of all TWGs. Key stakeholders, technical experts and other interested individuals are nominated through a register, which is routinely updated via Expressions of Interest (EOI) submissions.

Please note that completing an EOI does not guarantee you will become a TWG member or that you will be contacted. A formal invitation will be sent to individuals and organisations once the ASAP request their participation on a TWG.

Should your personal details, qualifications, or other relevant information change, please resubmit an EOI to let us know.

Why your views matter

The regulatory development process that governs aviation safety cannot be achieved without input from subject matter experts and industry. We greatly appreciate the enthusiasm shown by so many experienced individuals willing to share their knowledge and volunteer their time.
