Benefits and limitations of international models
1. United States – FAA
a) What would you see as the main benefits in adopting the United States’ model for regulating general aviation maintenance? Please detail.
It’s where the most aircraft GA operate around the world without exception. Why not utilise the system with the nose experience. It’s a system based on risk/ cost for the industry and accepts risk is an inevitable part of aviation. FAA tasked with promoting aviation as part of mandate.
