2. What kind of issues and/or challenges are you currently experiencing in regard to general aviation, and how have they impacted you?

Comments
Some of the regulations are out dated compared to the new diagnostic avionics that are available and installed in my plane. The cost of some of the requirements are getting to be too expensive in dollars compared to the improvement in safety. Too me it seems a safety issue to do maintenance on a perfectly good working piece of equipment, just for the sake of regulations, when all the diagnostic avionics are saying they are all right. I would like to see what the statistics say about MIF. If you would like any examples of what I am saying you can contact me.

3. Can you think of any opportunities that would improve our regulatory system for general aviation maintenance? For example, ways to reduce costs and red tape while maintaining a high safety standard. Please provide detail.

Comments
Get the regulations up to standard with the available technology. Look at what a leading mechanic in the states is saying, Mike Bushe.
