Registration for hobbyist via RPA doesn't make any sense because the craft is often rebuilt or changed that this definition would be problematic.

Please provide any additional comments:
Tiny RPAs (sub 100g) should be exempt because it's very unlikely they'll be a risk, nor can go very far, and they provide excellent `trainer models' for larger craft.

Please provide your comments:
Depends on the size and capacity of the RPA. Small quadcopters rarely go more than 200m away.

Provide your views on the ways in which counter-drone technologies should be managed and in what circumstances they should be used.

management/scenarios for counter-drone tech
If someone is breaking the law it doesn't matter what they are using.

The behaviour of someone using a drone for illegal activities is very different to a recreational flyer.

CASA seeks your view on the way in which we are approaching regulation of RPA in Australia today and for the future.

are we doing the right things?
Please don't kill the mini-quad community -- it's such a vibrant creative field that over regulation will only send it underground.

general comments
Thankyou for putting this out to the community it seems to be considerate of all parties and I highly encourage CASA to visit their local quadcopter racing group. Nearly all group are consummate safety nuts and want to see this dynamic sport grow.
