Are we doing enough of the right things?

CASA seeks your view on the way in which we are approaching regulation of RPA in Australia today and for the future.

are we doing the right things?
More rules have not reduced vehicle incidents, the ability to prosecute is brought about by having a basic structure of rules and regs. Lets not over complicate this.
Register all RPA's and CASA will have more clout to regulate use. Be careful not to set up a system that becomes a farce and just a money maker for trainers with no real industry benefit.

Responsible RPA operators stand with you. We want this to work.
There is a lot of mis-information and a certain amount of hype/hysteria promulgated by some senators whom I can only imagine are riding the wave of madness for political gain, rather than for the betterment of the industry.

Pleas dont over cook this. So far so good, lets step forward gently and with pupose.
